Nate Bright

Fortunately, Nate was exposed to art very early in his life. His mother was a painter too - working with oils, acrylics and watercolor - and she encouraged him to explore his artistic side as well. He dabbled with everything... did anyone else go through a macrame phase in the late 70’s, early 80’s? Drawing, writing and painting have always been his primary expression, and he enjoys teaching and inspiring other people to create. When he discovered fluid acrylics in 2018, he was instantly obsessed. The possibilities with this art form are endless! He loves to experiment, and feels a bit like a mad scientist every time he steps into his studio. His favorite question to ask is ‘What if I...’ Nate’s art is primarily abstract, heavily influenced by nature and the beautiful colors of the tropics. He enjoys using strong, bold and contrasting colors to create flowing movement, mesmerizing patterns and intricate details. His style ranges from modern and minimal, to floral and whimsical. While beautiful from a distance, Nate’s art also invites the viewer to step closer and discover more. Primarily working on canvas, Nate’s pieces range from 16”x16” to 36”x48”, and he’s happy to work on commission to create original art specific to your taste and home. Nate is a rising star in the fluid art / paint pouring community due to his successful and growing Youtube channel. In the past year, he has collaborated with other Youtube artists from Europe, Australia and North America, and has been invited to speak and teach at fluid art conferences. In fact, all of his art in the gallery will include a link to a video demonstrating how it was made!Fortunately, Nate was exposed to art very early in his life.
