Freddy Blandon

Freddy is a self-taught painter. He started painting when he was seven years old and has been painting for 23 years. Professional training includes an intensive scholarship at the Spanish Cultural Center In San Jose. He also studied at the National Institute of Learning in San José, Costa Rica. His first professional opportunity was an invitation to paint a mural for a private home in San Jose. He worked with an interior designer for ten years and learned more about painting and how it can enhance interior décor from them. Freddy defines his style as impressionistic. He enjoys conceptualizing and then creating large paintings and murals. While he tends to focus on nature, he can work in a wide variety of styles.
