Aquiles Segovia Villamizar

 One of the newest members of the artistic community here in Uvita!

Aquiles Segovia Villamizar is a multi-talented artist who enjoys experimenting and working in various types of artistic mediums including painting, illustration, graphic design, digital animation and woodworking.  Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, he has lived on Margarita Island off Venezuela, Uruguay, the United States and now Costa Rica.  Aquile’s interest and experiences in art were encouraged by his mother, also an artist and a gallery owner.   He has been surrounded by and involved in various artistic projects and collaborations throughout his life.  We look forward to seeing his vision of creating and sharing art with the world unfold further here in Uvita!
