As we prepare to enter our fourth year this October, we’re celebrating an exciting new chapter—not only with a completely redesigned website but also with our recent move to the beautiful Uvita Design Center, where art, design and creativity come together in one inspiring destination.
Over the past several months, I’ve been designing and building this new website with one goal in mind: to create an online experience that feels as close as possible to visiting the gallery in person. Whether you’re here in Costa Rica or discovering us from somewhere else in the world, I hope you’ll enjoy exploring everything our gallery has to offer.
A New Way to Experience Art
I’ve made it easier than ever to browse our growing collection of original artwork, fine jewelry, and home décor.
One of my favorite new features allows you to view selected artwork displayed in a beautifully designed interior setting, helping you visualize how each piece looks in a real living space. It gives you a much better sense of scale, presence, and how artwork can transform a room. At the moment it is only for the artwork and one designed room, with different colored wall features but soon, as the website continues to grow, I’ll continue adding new features and improving the experience, making it even easier to discover the artists and collections you love and what these might look like in your own home.
Meet Our Growing Gallery Family
Galería 1084 continues to grow and we are excited to welcome Adelia Ritchie and Kate Fleming as our newest resident artists, along with Nelson Lundberg, our resident interior designer.
Adelia’s artwork is already available to explore on the website, and Kate’s beautiful collection will be added very soon.

Custom Artwork & Jewelry
Looking for something created just for you?
Many of our artists accept commissions, allowing you to own a custom piece designed specifically for your home, business, or personal collection.
Our founding partner, Nate Bright, creates commissioned paintings, and several of our artists are available for custom projects.
As co-owner of Galería 1084 and the artist behind Costa Vida Design, I specialize in handcrafted custom jewelry. Working with thousands of natural gemstones from around the world, I create one-of-a-kind pieces in recycled sterling silver and 14k gold-filled materials.
Whether you’re dreaming of a statement necklace with a special stone of your choice or a meaningful gift, I’d love to help create something that’s uniquely yours.
Interested in Purchasing our Artwork?
Although online checkout isn’t available just yet, purchasing artwork is still easy.
Because of the current challenges surrounding international shipping and changing tariff regulations between Costa Rica and the United States, we’re looking for shipping alternatives for our out of the country clients. We do look forward to offering seamless online purchasing sometimes in there near future.
But until then, if you see something you love, simply click the “Inquire About This Artwork” button on the artwork page and we will personally help guide you through the purchasing process and available shipping options.
Even if a piece is marked as sold, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Many of our artists are happy to create commissioned works or similar pieces upon request.
For collectors in the United States, Paul Bond‘s reproductions can already be professionally produced and shipped directly in a variety of sizes. I’m currently expanding the website to showcase all of his available print options, so be sure to check back soon—or simply contact us for more information.
Workshops, Events & Creativos Kids Club
Community has always been at the heart of Galería 1084, and we are proud to offer an inspiring lineup of workshops, classes, exhibitions and special events throughout the year.
One of the things we are most excited about is the launch of our Creativos Kids Club, where young artists can explore drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, and creative expression in a fun and encouraging environment. We are also excited to invite you to our Artist Showcase on July 31, featuring stunning new work by our resident artist Matthew Smith, as well as our special guest artist Jacques Hervot. There will also be an unveiling of a brand-new jewelry collection by, Michaelynn Vandiver of Costa Vida Design.
It’s the perfect opportunity to meet the artists, explore new collections and celebrate another exciting chapter for Galería 1084.
