Cosy handmade lap-size quilts and pillow covers for comfort, decor and gifts

While many of the expatriates in Central America live along the warm and balmy coastlines , some of us choose to live at higher elevations in the mountains where we have sweeping vistas and cooler air.  Small lap-sized quilts can be useful in the cooler climates, all year around, but especially at night in the dry season.  If you are interested in a one-of-a kind quilt to snuggle up with on cool evenings and mornings, contact Karen Scott through the contacts page.  Each quilt is approximately 60 in. long x 45 in. wide and are surprisingly light in weight, while still warm to use.  The quilts are made of 100% cotton materials with free motion quilting and the designs and fabrics bold and eye-catching.

The diamond theme quilts shown here were inspired by a Kaffee Fassett design.  The Crosses were inspired by a design by QueenCityHippie417 and the squares patchwork is from a design known as Gene Pool by Gen Kingwell.  Prices will vary according to size, design and materials. but generally range around $175 and can be specially ordered by using the contacts tab to contact the artist.
