Artist Statement

Internationally known sculpturer Rainier Mora from San Jose, CR, heard about Galeria 1084 from a local connection and came to see us. We were thrilled to meet him and to welcome him as one of our guest artists. His work is breathtaking. He literally creates poetry out of stone and wood, using locally sourced materials. Mora’s work is in collections in Costa Rica, North America and Europe.
