Cynthia is a Costa Rica–based visual artist whose practice explores painting as a site of presence, transformation, and perceptual coherence. She holds formal training in Fine Arts from the University of Costa Rica and the Milan Institute in the United States. Her work is informed by extensive travel and cultural immersion across Costa Rica, Europe, and Asia, experiences that have shaped her understanding of art as both an aesthetic and contemplative practice.

Working between abstraction and realism, Mora has developed a distinctive visual language characterized by expressive brushwork, layered surfaces, and a nuanced exploration of light influenced by Impressionism. Her paintings synthesize memory, environment, and inner experience, inviting sustained contemplation. She currently lives and works in Bahía Ballena, Costa Rica, where the tropical landscape and Pacific light continue to inform her studio practice.
