Here Be Dragons

Challenged by a unique Japanese style fabric print of waves, the Artist pondered what to do with it. Sometimes sleeping on a problem inspires great ideas and in the morning, inspiration hit! Why not create a whimsical oriental inspired table runner or wall hanging featuring bold, fearsome and colorful asian-style sea serpents? If you love old books, maps or books about mystical and mythical creatures, you know the kind we mean?

Hence the title “Here Be Dragons”. This stunning textile features collage using raw-edge appliqué and free motion quilting techniques.
