Raw Edges Evenly Together

This piece has antique stencils, Mexican stencil paper, botanical flower prints, butter and dragonflies. It was a difficult composition for me to solve, but I think that I accomplished it by painting a blue gouache background that runs diagonally across the square format. 

I feel the title is apt for the times we live in. It comes from the old McCall pattern paper that makes up the ground.
